When you decide to become truly self motivational you realise that attaining success is not a destination it is something within you. It is the self motivational attitude that you take to every facet of your life. Not just the major things but the every day simple things to. Success is not something you can reach out and grab onto, nail down then parade as some kind of trophy which some less than self motivational individuals have come to view it. Successful people don’t just attain success they live it on an ongoing basis. Many descriptions of success have it as a journey. However I am convinced it is more than a journey and is in actual fact a life style and indeed a self motivationallife style choice.

Success always leaves clues, here is a list of a number of the success clues you should look out for:

1 Being focused on worthy goals
2 self motivational enough to work towards them (not just looking for short cuts)
3 Striving for high standards but not weighed down in seeking perfection
4 Visualising the big picture while also focusing on the detail
5 Perseverance is the self motivational watchword
6 Weighing up the need for big step change with incremental improvement
7 Holding the gains in success not sliding back into old behaviours
8 Assisting others, particularly less fortunate than yourself, set and achieve their goals
9 Showing commitment to delivering on promises
10 Fundamentally aware that your goal is still there after the buffeting storms around you subside
11 Not surrendering control to others by getting uncontrollably angry
12 Seeing abuse and hate from others as a gift you choose to refuse to accept from them
13 Do not acknowledge failure and see it really as a learning experience
14 Establish alliances with those who will commit to helping you with your goals
15 Understanding that everyone has within them the resources to achieve their goals
16 Being clear that success is a self motivational choice you make not one that is made for you
17 Seeing money as merely a scorecard to the wealth you create in the world not success itself
18 Respect others and their definition of success even when you can’t agree with them
19 Living in the now and valuing every moment of every day
20 Seeing health as the great generator for a self motivational and successful life style

To be self motivational and live a success lifestyle you need to be a detective looking for clues. My list above is not meant to be comprehensive but merely a starting point to begin your quest. To get some further clues have a look at this self motivational booklist I compiled.

You can motivate your team members externally or internally. External motivation relates to the working environment. However, internal motivation relates the interests, aptitudes and dreams of your team members. Here you shall find seven critical motivational techniques to get the best out of your subordinates.

1- Reward and Punishment

It is the most popular technique being used by the managers. It mobilizes motivational energies in the team players. The reward can be in the form of special promotions, raises or words. However, excessive use of this tool may create jealousy amongst your subordinates to disturb the working environment.

Fear of punishment also plays an important role. You need to be careful here too. A wrong punishment at a wrong time may backfire. Just create a balance. Visit a Motivational Speaker

2- Setting of Goals

Setting of well-defined goals helps your team members to do their best. Set meaningful and justified deadlines to get the project finished within time. You need to work at two levels. First, set your objective. Second, divide that objective into goals and sub-goals.

3- Advisory Techniques

No one is perfect. Being a team leader you must always be ready to offer advice when your team members face some stumbling block in their performance. Encourage them to remove their weaknesses and continue what works for them.

4- Praise and Criticism

This motivational technique is similar to ‘reward and punishment’ technique. A word of praise or criticism shall have definite results upon your subordinates. However, like rewards and punishments, this technique should also be used carefully. Sometimes your team members will do better with criticism and other times they will stop working. Visit a Motivational Speaker

5- Success and Failure

To motivate your team members, you should analyze their successes in open and failures in your office. Most of the people like to continue doing what is working for them. Don’t try to change their style unless you find them failing to achieve what you desire of them.

6- Competition

It is the strongest motivational technique to get the best out of your subordinates. You can use this technique very effectively when combine with setting of efficient goals. Competitive circumstances shall help your team members to perform the best.

7- Interests of Team Members

Do you know what interests your subordinates? Just find out those interests and entrust them with tasks that they love to do. It will increase their efficiency on one hand and speed of the project on the other. Random allocation of tasks may not be too helpful to all of them. Visit a Motivational Speaker

If you are going to be successful on the internet or any home business as far as that is concerned, then, integrity must come before your financial success. Many people are financially successful on the internet, but some have forgotten the meaning of true success.

As Jim Rohn (One of the all time favorite motivational speakers) says, quite often, it is far more important of who you are becoming, then, what you are earning. Jim even goes so far as to say that you should work toward becoming a millionaire, not for the money, but because of who you will become in achieving the goal.

The stress is on becoming a better person. A person who has integrity. Integrity is being able to be counted on, to be depended upon, if you say that you are going to provide a service or product for a certain amount of money, then you do it. You are looking out for your customers, as well as yourself.

In most cases your reputation will precede you! You may think that no one is discovering your flawed business manners, but actually, the word is spreading and on the net, it spreads quite rapidly. Visit Keynote Speaker for more information

One of the universal laws of success is that financial success follows hard work with honesty. In other words, “help enough people get what they want and you will find that you receive what you want.” However, if you are just looking out for you, you are only hurting yourself in the long run. Wouldn’t the internet be so much better if we were all watching out for each other?

One important lesson I have learned when it comes to making a sale is that people buy from those whom they trust. If they trust you they will buy from you. If your integrity is guiding you as you make your presentation to others it will come across to your potential buyer. You are more likely to make that sell with your integrity guiding you, then, any other aspect in your presentation. Visit Motivational Speaker for more information

It does not matter how well you intellectually present your service or product, if they detect flaws in your character you might as well close up your brief case and go home.

Perhaps, even of a greater reward for being a man or women of integrity is that you will sleep better at night just knowing you did your best to sincerely help others achieve their dreams. What can be more rewarding, then, to help others reach their goals?

If you have children, perhaps, that would be the ultimate reason to permit integrity to lead you. Your children will have someone that they can be proud of and more importantly someone whom they can trust! Visit Speaker

I was asked recently by someone posting on my self help blog what were the best self motivational books I have read. Although there are several thousand self motivational books published each year I have come to the conclusion that there is very little that can be added to the many words of self motivational wisdom that have been written over the last century and a half. From the early pioneers like Napoleon Hill to today’s monumental giants like Tony Robbins. It was said, I think by the latter of these two gurus, that we arrive on this planet without an instruction manual. I think for that reason alone there is not just a thirst for knowledge but a greater need for a guide to how to survive life which drives the market for self help books. You don’t need to have suffered a deep psychological trauma to want to invest in one of these guides. But for those who say you can’t deal with serious issues like depression then I disagree. Where my own doctor and a clinical psychologist were unable to help me a number of the books on my all time classic list gave me the support to get my life back on track. However its not reading self motivational books that gets results its taking action on the advice that is given therein. So my advice is read a small amount of self motivational books but take a lot of action if you want to significantly improve your life.
Can self motivational books bring happiness? Now there is a million dollar question! Depends on your definition of happiness of course. Many people would define it as achieving a certain amount of wealth. However as many wealthy people often say the wealth in and of itself doesn’t bring happiness. In addition have you ever noticed that wealthy people never seem satisfied with what they have got and continually seek to make more and more money. The truth is that happiness is not a destination it is more likely to be a state of continually striving to achieve goals, achieving them and setting more goals to strive to achieve. If thats your definition then I think self motivational books will help you and my list of all time classics have certainly helped me in that respect. There are many out there who will disagree with my choice of self help books and have their own favourites all I can say to them is that these are the ones that gave me the focus and the necessary poke in the ribs to take action and I still revisit them for ideas.

Motivation is the reason or reasons for engaging in a particular behavior, especially human behavior as studied in philosophy, conflict, economics, psychology, and neuropsychology. These reasons may include basic needs such as food or a desired object, hobbies, goal, state of being, or ideal. The motivation for a behavior may also be attributed to less-apparent reasons such as altruism or morality. According to Geen,[1] motivation refers to the initiation, direction, intensity and persistence of human behavior. Motivational Speaker

Intrinsic and extrinsic motivation
Intrinsic motivation is when people engage in an activity, such as a hobby, without obvious external incentives.

Intrinsic motivation has been studied by educational psychologists since the 1970s, and numerous studies have found it to be associated with high educational achievement and enjoyment by students. There is currently no universal theory to explain the origin or elements of intrinsic motivation, and most explanations combine elements of Fritz Heider’s attribution theory, Bandura’s work on self-efficacy and other studies relating to locus of control and goal orientation. Though it is thought that students are more likely to be intrinsically motivated if they:

Attribute their educational results to internal factors that they can control (e.g. the amount of effort they put in),
Believe they can be effective agents in reaching desired goals (i.e. the results are not determined by luck),
Are interested in mastering a topic, rather than just rote-learning to achieve good grades.
Note that the idea of reward for achievement is absent from this model of intrinsic motivation, since rewards are an extrinsic factor.

In knowledge-sharing communities and organizations, people often cite altruistic reasons for their participation, including contributing to a common good, a moral obligation to the group, mentorship or ‘giving back’. In work environments, money may provide a more powerful extrinsic factor than the intrinsic motivation provided by an enjoyable workplace.Motivational Speaker

The most obvious form of motivation is coercion, where the avoidance of pain or other negative consequences has an immediate effect. Extreme use of coercion is considered slavery. While coercion is considered morally reprehensible in many philosophies, it is widely practiced on prisoners, students in mandatory schooling, within the nuclear family unit (on children), and in the form of conscription. Critics of modern capitalism charge that without social safety networks, wage slavery is inevitable[citation needed]. However, many capitalists such as Ayn Rand have been very vocal against coercion[citation needed]. Successful coercion sometimes can take priority over other types of motivation. Self-coercion is rarely substantially negative (typically only negative in the sense that it avoids a positive, such as forgoing an expensive dinner or a period of relaxation), however it is interesting in that it illustrates how lower levels of motivation may be sometimes tweaked to satisfy higher ones. Motivational Speaker

Are you an admirer of the famous books of quotations? If not, browsing the famous quotes of both prominent names in history and anonymous gems can be quite thought provoking, as well as entertaining. If you have a website, motivational quotes can provide some succinct meat to your basic message.

Understanding the power of motivational quotes
For example, let’s say you have a blog which focuses on ‘outside the box’ concepts. A motivational quote, properly chosen and included as part of your signature for each post, can remind your readers of your basic premise. Such a simple inclusion can boost your readership, retaining interest in what you have to say, as well as providing an anchor they can hang their mental hat upon, no matter how far afield you may apparently wander. If your blog entries are diverse in subject matter, your readers may wonder why you’re so all over the map. A motivational quote, included with each post, can dispel the puzzled looks and turn your blog into a site your readers understand and read on a regular basis. In other words, they know where you’re coming from.

Let’s say your blog covers topics ranging from politics to kitchen appliances. Your mission is to make people think about all of the inanities of modern society. This can be a difficult concept to convey. Enter the motivational quote.

Everyone has heard of Albert Einstein and what he has to say is not easily refuted. Browsing the motivational quotes, you discover this gem, which perfectly describes your take and position on all of the issues you post: “I have reached an age when, if someone tells me to wear socks, I don’t have to.” Just these fifteen words are worth a thousand of the proverbial pictures. More about Power of Motivational Quotes.

As a Christian, I have the right to live a abundant life. The life that Jesus Christ died to give me, is all mine. It’s not because of our might, nor because of our goodness, but because of the precious blood, Jesus Christ shed for us in the Cross at Calvary. Because of his innocent blood, millions of sinners are saved from Hell. How precious that is, you ask?

If you don’t realize what Hell is, or what would have happened to you if Jesus didn’t save you, you won’t realize the value of Christianity. There are still millions in the world living without the knowledge that, there exists a dark world beneath the earth named Hell. Where millions of souls are tormented forever, in eternal fire. But this may sound like a fairy tale to you unless you study the Bible deeper and seek for the truth.

Not only is Hell real. But whatever Bible depicts about the dark side and satan, evil and demons are all real. You will know the truth only if you read bible and understand what God saved us from. And the need for that is to save yourself from suffering the torments in Hell. God doesn’t want even one soul to go there, God loves us so much, that he gave his only son’s life for saving us.

Realize what you are saved from. To make you believe that there is a world called Hell. Go read the bible, search bible passages online in sites like bible gateway. Search for the word “Hell” and you will come up with all sorts of details about Hell, you will read exactly where Hell is situated, and you will know what it feels like to be in Hell. You will understand the value of Jesus Christ who saved us from destruction.

If that info on Hell is just not enough for you to believe, then go search sites like YouTube, where you’ll find a real audio recording done by some archeologists, while digging deeper in to the earths core. You’ll be shocked to hear the torments of millions of souls in Hell, also for you to believe that it’s no cooked up story, you can find photographs of newspapers articles that published the incident back in 1940’s if I am right.

I am not saying this all to scare you away from reality. I am telling you these to understand the value of Christianity and the value of what Jesus died to give us. The only person who can save us from destruction and Hell is Jesus Christ. His name is the name above all names, the word above all words. It’s the name of the Almighty who is the Alpha and The Omega, who can answer all your prayers instantly, who can change people’s minds for your good, who can heal your sickness, who can turn any difficult situation and make it to your advantage. Believe in Jesus Christ and Be Saved Forever. The gift is an eternal life, with God in his garden of Love… Heaven…

God will give his angels charge over his sons and daughters who fear him and love him the way he loves you. He is the God who said – If you abide in me and my words abide in you, I’ll do for you whatever you ask me to do. What more can a meager human being like you and me ask for that having God by our side?

Your 10 Steps - from Perspiration to Motivation

Are you running on life’s treadmill with the speed setting turned up a little too high? Does everything feel like a struggle? Why not use inspiration to create energy that propels you up and over life’s inevitable speed bumps? Here are ten steps to get you started.

1. Be grateful: Instead of focusing on what you don’t have, take a look at what you do. Write a list of the “50 Things I Am Grateful For Today.” Take a minute each morning to mentally express your gratitude for at least 5 things whether it’s the air you breathe, the clothes on your back, or those closest to you.

2. Celebrate and list every success: How would you like to have a boss who only ranted about what you did wrong or what you failed to achieve, never giving you credit for the wins? Take a look in the mirror and make sure you aren’t abusing yourself like a boss from hell. We tend to gulp down the little successes and minor victories instead of savoring them. Keep a running list of your successes for the year and post it near your computer or nightstand.

3. Learn from your setbacks: Failure happens. It’s part of life and a necessary component of growth. Accept failure as something good, as proof that you are taking risks and stretching yourself. However, in addition to accepting the losses, you must go back and, like an unbiased scientist, ask yourself what went wrong. What will you do differently in the future? Mistakes are only truly valuable if you learn from them. Even if your home is a problem - this is just a ride, as Bill Hicks used to say.

4. Fill your glass: Forget the debate over whether the glass is half empty or half full! Why not take a pitcher and fill it up? Tackle every situation with the perspective that you can affect the outcome. Acknowledge that you have the power to choose. Even doing absolutely nothing or feeling sorry for yourself is a choice you make.

5. Look for role models: Who inspires you? Is there someone who walked in your shoes and faced similar battles? Maybe even someone who went on to become a superstar in his or her own life? Identify her but don’t put her up on a pedestal. Remember that she is a person just like you, who overcame the odds, or struggled through extreme hardship and persevered.

6. Become a visionary: You don’t have to be a guru to have a vision of the future. All it takes is a bit of imagination and the courage to reach for something bigger than your current reality. If time and money were no object and success was guaranteed, what would you want to create for yourself, your family, or the world? Give yourself at least 30 minutes to let your thoughts dig into this one. How does this vision of the future relate to your life today?

7. Identify the milestones: Set concrete goals for yourself that can be broken down into measurable pieces or milestones. If you want to lose 20 pounds, each 5-pound increment is the next milestone you should aim for and celebrate. Instead of shooting for a distant peak, it’s much more encouraging to set your sights on the corner at the end of the block.

8. Say it with pictures: Research says that 89% of what we learn is visual, 10% is auditory, and 1% comes through our other senses. Draw, photograph, or assemble a collage that represents your aim in life. Hang it on the wall or download it to your computer desktop as a reminder of what you’re working towards.

9. Play: If you feel like you’re toiling, take a break and interject some fun. Do something ridiculous. If you can’t think of anything, spend an hour or two watching 4-year olds play. To them, everything has the potential for fun. Learn to enjoy the journey even more than the destination.

10. Ride the wave of change - don’t run from it: Like death and taxes, change is inevitable. However, resistance to change is common and causes untold amounts of struggle. Become a master evolutionist—respond to change eagerly and rapidly.

We all need a push once in a while. Choose instead to latch onto inspiration as a force that pulls you forward and you’ll discover that success can be effortless.

power of the subconscious mind
These days there is a great deal of discussion and speculation over unconscious mind as we see people really getting into things such as what the bleep as more and more of us really are looking for ways that we can readily and effectively make positive changes to our lives.

In discussing about the subconscious mind we know that it has no logic or reason. The subconscious mind will believe that a learned behavior is a positive thing, no matter how bad for us that habit may be.

goal setting
In looking more and more in detail at the spiritual law of attraction quantum physics we can talk about the subconscious mind and how it is governed by many rules. It really makes sense for us to learn about the rules of the law of attraction and subconscious mind in order to allow us to make the best use out of our subconscious minds with the least effort.

We all know about self improvement and how paying real attention to this can have a marked change and positive effect in our lives. In line
with this we really have to get down to the deep understanding of our subconscious and know that our subconscious minds is helpful as far as it is concerned and sees the reasons it provides for avoiding the change as valid.

applying the law of attraction
The 7 laws of attraction takes in everything we learn and experience in our lifetime. It is this programming that serves to actually develop our habit patterns and the thing that we need to do is to literally reprogram our subconscious minds in order to get different outcomes in our lives.

It is those of us who really are determined to learn more about the laws of the universe as we look to be do and have all that we want to be. Going to seminars, reading books and getting a law of attraction coach are some of the many things and methods that we can use to really ramp things up and take our lives forward to higher level and new pastures. There really is good reasoning as to why we see spiritual law of attraction becoming more and more relevant in the times we find ourselves living in as more and more people are looking at religion and spirituality in different ways and looking for the smoothest way of tapping into the universal intelligence in order to make success a natural part of life.
